    Tom Doyle is a founder of and principal of WD Land specializing in residential and investment land sales to home builders and developers, as well as providing comprehensive advisory and brokerage services to financial institutions, public and private investors, and real estate investors. Tom is focused on the Riverside and Corona markets along the 15 and 91 Corridors and the infill markets in Central Orange County.


    Professional Accomplishments

    • Founded and grew WD Land into one of the leading residential land brokerage firms in California
    • Managed more than $150 million in real estate development projects for First Interstate Bank

    Notable Transactions

    • Toscana in Riverside County — Off-market transaction for a 960-acre master-planned community including 1,443 proposed lots/units located south of the City of Corona.
    • Corona 850 in Riverside County — Aggressively marketed and obtained a buyer for 718 acres adjacent to the city of Corona
    • Redhill Village in Moreno Valley — Secured a qualified investor who was looking for a long term hold of the 213 lots
    • Moreno Valley Ranch– Managed the disposition of lots in a golf course community

    Business Background


    Before establishing WD Land in 1996, Tom was a principal with Province Realty Group, where he developed programs to provide advisory and brokerage services for a diversity of clients, as well as creating and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.

     

    From 1988 to 1994, Tom was a vice president with First Interstate Bank during which time he managed the construction financing for more than $150 million in real estate development projects. 


    He was responsible for coordinating project dispositions with brokers and buyers, underwriting values, and also worked closely with outside counsel on such critical issues and loan documentation and legal structure. 


    Before that, he served as vice president of corporate lending and was responsible for developing, structuring, and managing credit relationships with middle-market companies and high net-worth individuals.


    Community Involvement


    Tom has been on the Board of Directors of HomeAid Orange County for over three years. He is vice president of the Housing Committee and is leading the efforts for a new shelter development to serve homeless families in Orange County. 


    He has also been involved and served on committees with the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a non-profit foundation which provides long-term support for Orange County’s foster children that are victims of abuse and neglect.

    Tom resides on South Orange County with his wife and two daughters. He is a dedicated marathon runner and enjoys spending time with his family.

    Business Background


    Les founded WD Land together with Tom Doyle in 1996. He has been in the residential land business for almost 30 years. 

     

    Before establishing WD Land, Les was Executive Vice President of the Hoffman Company where he was the company's top producer during his tenure at the firm from 1989 to 1995. He also marketed bank-owned "REO" properties on behalf of major financial institutions, developed sophisticated land analysis models and programs, as well as established training programs for sales agents. 

     

    Les began his career in real estate with Grubb & Ellis in 1986, where he formed the Residential Land Division for the Ontario office. While there, he was the top producer in 1989 and was in the top twenty in the Pacific Southwest.


    Community Involvement


    Due to his love of aviation and wanting to pass that passion on to others, in conjunction with The Experimental Aircraft Association, he hosts Young Eagles events where rides are given to kids form 8 to 18 at no charge to introduce them to aviation.


    Interests


    Les’s life long passion is for aviation, having soloed at the age of 17. He has flown over 80 types of aircraft, is a commercially rated pilot and former Flight Instructor. He is an avid collector of vintage aircraft and flies vintage aircraft that he has restored.

    Provenza has 15 years of real estate acquisition, disposition, development, and finance experience.


    Before WD Land, Provenza was with Colliers International’s Residential Land Advisory Group. In 2009, he co-founded CWP Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm providing receivership, management, and brokerage services to lenders, servicers, owners, developers, and investors.

     

    From 2000 to 2009, Provenza was part of the senior management team of Toll Brothers (NYSE: TOL), America’s Luxury Homebuilder and a national residential land development company. During his tenure, Provenza was responsible for land acquisition, due diligence, approval processing, project management, design, development, and financing. 


    Also, Provenza was involved in the pursuit of several corporate mergers and acquisitions valued at over $4 billion.

     

    Before his development career, he worked for two architecture and town planning firms focused on retail, hospitality, office, and mixed-use programs.


    Community Involvement


    Provenza is Chairman of the Building Block Foundation Fund, a charity dedicated to at-risk youth in Orange County supported by the commercial real estate industry. As a California State University Fullerton professor, he teaches real estate courses at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. He is a frequent speaker at the industry conferences and lectures at local universities.

    Over his career, he has managed acquisitions throughout Southern California for best-in-class builders and developers. He was Director of Acquisitions at Western National Group, a large private apartment owner / operator and he led acquisition efforts for Standard Pacific Homes (NYSE: SPF), a national home builder and land development company. 

     

    Mr. Crandall began his career at Fluor (NYSE: FLR) where he managed a special projects team throughout the United States and Asia.

    Business Background


    David has over 15 years of real estate brokerage, development, and finance experience. Before joining WD Land, David was an associate for O’Donnell Atkins, another land brokerage firm based in Orange County, where he focused on facilitating relationships and negotiating transactions with equity and debt sources on behalf of clients to fund / finance residential development.

     

    From 2000 to 2001, David was a senior software account manager for EZGov, Inc, where he spearheaded a marketplace for E-Government software services for state, county, and local governments throughout CA, AZ and NM.

     

    Prior to 2000, David served as a financial analyst for the Koll Company, a major California commercial and industrial developer, where he conducted asset valuations, return analyses, and cash flow projections. 

     

    He was also an investment banking analyst with BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, where he focused on the firm’s real estate and technology groups and provided financial advisory services for such activities as IPOs, other equity /debt offerings, and M&A.


    Community Involvement


    David spends much of his free time as a youth coach/mentor of local baseball, basketball, and soccer teams. He manages his older son, Andrew’s Irvine Colts travel baseball team, and his younger son, Brian’s NJB team.


    David and his family are also active in their local church.

Prior to starting a career in real estate, Stacey worked several years in sales and as a certified personal trainer.
