Before establishing WD Land in 1996, Tom was a principal with Province Realty Group, where he developed programs to provide advisory and brokerage services for a diversity of clients, as well as creating and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
From 1988 to 1994, Tom was a vice president with First Interstate Bank during which time he managed the construction financing for more than $150 million in real estate development projects.
He was responsible for coordinating project dispositions with brokers and buyers, underwriting values, and also worked closely with outside counsel on such critical issues and loan documentation and legal structure.
Before that, he served as vice president of corporate lending and was responsible for developing, structuring, and managing credit relationships with middle-market companies and high net-worth individuals.
Community Involvement
Tom has been on the Board of Directors of HomeAid Orange County for over three years. He is vice president of the Housing Committee and is leading the efforts for a new shelter development to serve homeless families in Orange County.
He has also been involved and served on committees with the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a non-profit foundation which provides long-term support for Orange County’s foster children that are victims of abuse and neglect.

Les founded WD Land together with Tom Doyle in 1996. He has been in the residential land business for almost 30 years.
Before establishing WD Land, Les was Executive Vice President of the Hoffman Company where he was the company's top producer during his tenure at the firm from 1989 to 1995. He also marketed bank-owned "REO" properties on behalf of major financial institutions, developed sophisticated land analysis models and programs, as well as established training programs for sales agents.
Les began his career in real estate with Grubb & Ellis in 1986, where he formed the Residential Land Division for the Ontario office. While there, he was the top producer in 1989 and was in the top twenty in the Pacific Southwest.

Due to his love of aviation and wanting to pass that passion on to others, in conjunction with The Experimental Aircraft Association, he hosts Young Eagles events where rides are given to kids form 8 to 18 at no charge to introduce them to aviation.

Les’s life long passion is for aviation, having soloed at the age of 17. He has flown over 80 types of aircraft, is a commercially rated pilot and former Flight Instructor. He is an avid collector of vintage aircraft and flies vintage aircraft that he has restored.
