PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 

  • Bought land valued at over $300 million throughout Southern California for for-sale housing and apartments

  • Secured discretionary approvals for over 2,000 units in multiple jurisdictions from Victorville to Beaumont

  • Led the expansion into the Palm Springs market for Standard Pacific Homes

  • Supervised construction at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

  • Managed a special projects team for the international installation of L3 Communications' fiber-optic network

  • Villa Borba in Chino Hills — Fully-approved mixed-use master planned community on 336 acres consisting of 351 lots, 280 apartments, five acres of commercial and a park.

 

  • Riverbend in Jurupa Valley — Former dairy on 215 acres adjacent to Goose Creek Golf Course planned for 468 residential lots in four planning areas with a five-acre park.

 

  • The Groves in Fullerton — Former automotive dealership redeveloped into an urban infill community of 52 townhomes.

 

  • Walden in Garden Grove  — Former church property redeveloped into a gated community consisting of 18 single family detached lots and a tot lot.

 

BUSINESS BACKGROUND

 

Crandall has extensive real estate acquisition, disposition, investment, development, financial modeling, approval processing, land development and management experience.  Crandall co-founded CWP Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm providing receivership, management and brokerage services to lenders, servicers, owners, developers and investors.

   

Over his career, he has managed acquisitions throughout Southern California for best-in-class builders and developers.  He was Director of Acquisitions at Western National Group, a large private apartment owner/operator and he led acquisition efforts for Standard Pacific Homes (NYSE: SPF), a national homebuilder and land development company.  

 

Mr. Crandall began his career at Fluor (NYSE: FLR) where he managed a special projects team throughout the United States and Asia.

Curt resides in Laguna Beach and enjoys golf, tennis, sailing, snorkeling, surfing and spending time with his family.
